I considered driving 8 hours for Animal Style fries. And now In-N-Out Burger has a book…

innoutbook…and still no plans for a Denver location. The closest one is in Wyoming somewhere. And last Winter, my friend and I were considering driving there solely for Animal Style fries. It didn’t end up happening for whatever reason. But I did become aware of a knock off location in Colorado called Drifters. It’s down in Colorado Springs, and apparently it’s got the same menu and everything. The guy who opened it worked for In-N-Out for so many years and either ripped the menu off or, to say it nicer, was inspired by the original. I go to the Springs every so often and next time am going to see how Drifters stacks up to In-N-Out. Anyone wanna come?

* Editor’s note: The closest In-N-Out to me is in Utah, not Wyoming.
