For the second (or third) week in a row, I’ve opted to hit up the Nordstrom Rack down Park Meadows way vs. the Flat Iron location en route to Boulder. And for however many consecutive weeks, and despite what mailers and signage has led me to believe, there hasn’t been a dramatic influx of new product. Here’s my gripe: I have now seen the same pairs of Sperrys sitting on the shelf for well over a month. It doesn’t trouble me so much that there aren’t many new shoes, it’s more the fact that the price hasn’t dropped. At all. Obviously the product isn’t moving, Rack. Slash the price by 50% and I will buy two pairs. See that? A cure to your over-stocked shelves and my under-stocked boat shoe collection.
All the same, there were a few new sneakers worthy of a camera-phone photo….
