100 Days of Ties: Day 13: Pierrepont Hicks to Kick Off Autumn 2010

Tie: Pierrepont Hicks
Shirt: J. Crew (Shocker, I know)
Belt: Tanner Goods
Shoes: Johnston and Murphy Saddles (unseen)

It’s been nice the amount of support friends have shot my way during this ongoing (and still young) 100 Days of Ties Project. All of the submissions have been great and the support from companies offering to send a few neckties my way is amazing! Never thought it would happen and never intended it to.

As we enter Autumn, the madras will begin to take a back seat (not altogether) to the wools. So it was quite apropos that an offering from the gents at Pierrepont Hicks showed up at my door yesterday and was donned for today’s tie. Thanks, guys! It’s feeling and looking nice. And already has garnered a few compliments….

Necklace: My own

And yeah, I went two buttons undone and still rocked the tie. Because what fun is fashion if you’re not willing to get a little wild.

Im taking them myself. SElF TIMER FTW.

If you want to brainstorm sometime about what you can do, I’d like that. Maybe necklaces or…. OH! Scrunchies. YES. Scrunchies. Or fanny packs.
