100 Days of Ties: Day 65: Red, white, and blue in remembrance.

The day still lives in infamy...

December 7 is obviously a huge day in American history. In honor of our veterans and those still active in our armed forces, I donned a few hues of the ol’ red, white, and blue. Should have probably went all Made in the USA, too, and not gone with the H&M coat and J Crew tie and pants, but I will leave it up to the Wharf shirt and Tanner Goods belt to pick up that slack. Thank you to all that have and continue to risk their lives for the citizens of this great country.

Life has published an amazing set of photos of the Pearl Harbor attacks. Check them out.

Drake / givemeindiana.tumblr.com - Tuesday with WIIIIIDE Lapels. I figure all fashion is circular so someday this London Fog will be the height of fashion. Probably when medallions and spats make a comeback. Lands’ End tie in navy, red, and green.

Ryan / denimdiary.net - Ben Sherman sweater. Vintage tie, j. Crew woven. Rugby chinos, Mezlan kicks

Smaller batch today. But that’s cool. Lots going on. On my end too…

But let’s all get the NYC Party in our calendars, alright? Feburary 5, 2011. New York City. If I do happen to have some generous friends willing to throw in a few dollars for my airfare from and to Denver, I sure would appreciate it. I’ve raised $50 so far. Not gonna need much more if 5-6 others are willing to do the same…

See you there!

RSVP now.

And, as always, Submit your pictures to the 100 Days of Ties.
